Juneteenth 2024: A Day of Celebration and Education

Three years after it was made a federal holiday, Juneteenth 2024 marks a day of celebration as well as education.

Juneteenth is a celebration of Black history and freedom that went relatively unnoticed by White Americans for many years.

The Federal Reserve Bank will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, for the Juneteenth National Independence Day Holiday.
