Frank The Ghost Martin expressed gratitude for his fight against Gervonta Tank Davis

Gervonta "Tank" Davis knocked out Frank "The Ghost" Martin in the eighth round of their WBA lightweight title fight on Saturday night.

Davis knocked down Martin twice in the fourth round, again in the seventh round, and finally in the eighth round to finish the fight. This is Davis's 15th knockout of his career, and this is his first fight since May 2021.

Martin was game, but he was simply outclassed by the bigger, stronger Davis. Davis is now 27-0 with 25 KOs, while Martin falls to 16-2 with 12 KOs.

In the co-main event, David Benavidez won a unanimous decision over Oleksandr Gvozdyk via to win the WBC world super middleweight title.
